Hi Charles, thanks for visiting us on TD Helps today.
We'd first like to advise that you should contact us as soon as you can so that we may close your debit card. You can reach us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 888-751-9000. You may also close your debit card by visiting your local TD Bank Store. Please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to view our Store locations and hours,
If you are unable to call us, you may also send us a secure message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your mobile banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu.
Although we do monitor your debit card for unusual or suspicious activity, it is possible that your card may be used if it is lost, and someone picks it up.
Once your card is closed, you may request a new debit card by calling us at the number listed above, at your local TD Bank Store, or by sending us a secure message. If you decide to send a secure message, please be sure to include your account number, and the address in which you would like us to mail your debit card to. If you would like the debit card to be mailed to an address that is not listed on your account, please include the statement "I take full responsibility for my debit card to be mailed to this alternate address".
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach back out through Helps.
We hope to speak with you soon, Charles. Have a nice rest of your day!
