Hi Dev! Thanks for visiting us at TD Helps today.
At this time, TD Bank is only located along the east coast of the United States. We do not currently have any affiliate or correspondent banks in India.
If you have a TD Bank account and are looking to withdraw funds, we're happy to let you know that your TD Bank Visa Debit Card should be accepted anywhere that accepts Visa. You should also be able to withdraw funds from ATM machines that display the MasterCard, Cirrus, Visa, or Plus logo. Please know that when a non-TD Bank ATM is used, a fee can be charged. This fee is separate from any fee the other bank or ATM company may charge. We want to provide you with options to avoid these fees.
Many stores now offer you the option of receiving cash back when you make a purchase. TD Bank does not charge a fee for this service. The amount you take back in cash is simply added to your total purchase.
You may also be able to use your TD Bank Visa Debit Card to do a cash advance with a bank teller at a different financial institution. To do this, visit a bank there in India and request to do a Visa Cash Advance with the teller. Your card will be used to withdraw funds and that transaction should post to your account as a Visa purchase, rather than a withdrawal. While TD Bank does not charge a fee for doing this type of transaction, we recommend confirming with the bank that you use if they charge a fee to perform this service.
Finally, we want to make you aware that with some of our accounts, non-TD Bank ATM fees are waived as a benefit of that account type. We may even waive the fees charged by the ATM company! To check out all of our checking accounts for an account with this benefit that might also fit your needs, please click here: https://go.td.com/2tX7kAh. To review our savings accounts, please click here: https://go.td.com/2bSlkVn. If you choose to change your account type, we'd be happy to help. It’s a quick change that will not affect your account or debit card number. Just give us a call. To contact us by phone from outside of the United States, please use country code 011 and call 856-751-9000 or call us collect from a landline with operator assistance at 215-569-0518. We have representatives available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help.
You can also send us a secure message with your request through your online or mobile banking. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
You can find additional info about avoiding fees by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1xwvko5.
We hope this info helps, Dev. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to give us a call at the number above and we'd be happy to help.
We hope you're having a great day!
