Hi Jane, thanks for joining us on TD Helps. We're glad to help you identify this fee on your Checking account.
Please remember that on some of our accounts, there is a regular monthly maintenance fee and a minimum daily balance that we ask you to keep in order to have this fee waived. If your balance falls below the minimum daily requirement for your account, then the maintenance fee for that period would not be waived and would appear on the last day of your statement cycle. If you can identify which type of Checking account you have, you can review the requirements for that account and identify the required minimum daily balance necessary to avoid this fee. You may find this link helpful: http://bit.ly/1hiXeSr. Also, you can review a full list of all Personal Account Maintenance Fees and compare our accounts here: http://bit.ly/1nldlQv.
If you happen to have a Business Checking account with us, we invite you to review this link for information about the Small Business accounts we offer and their Service Fees: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe. There is a tab here dedicated to compare the Service Fees on these Business accounts.
If you need any further help in determining what this fee is and how to avoid it, we encourage you to reach out to a Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to review your account. Since this is considered an unsecure forum, we don't have the information to access your account that we'll need to best assist you and identify this fee.
Or, if you're currently enrolled in Online Banking, you can login here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and send us a Secure Message to inquire about this fee in more detail. While logged in to your Online Profile, on the left hand side you should see an option to "Send a Secure Message" located in the Message Center. Follow the options to send us a message and we'll get back to you with further details of your account. If you have not enrolled in Online Banking, you can do so through this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Just have your Account Number, TD Bank VISA Debit Card Number and Social Security Number handy when you do.
If you are enrolled in Online Banking for your BusinessDirect account, you may use this link to login and send a Secure Message: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8.
As always, you can sit down with a Banking Specialist in person if you'd prefer at a TD Bank Store location. Find the closest Store to you here http://bit.ly/TDStores and step in during lobby hours to discuss.
We hope this helps Jane. You know where to reach us if you have any more questions. Have a great day!
