We understand your concern, Elizabeth and we'd be glad to discuss maintenance fees.
On some of our accounts, there is a minimum daily balance required in order to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. If your account falls below the required minimum, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle.
Based on your question, it sounds as though you have a TD Convenience Checking account. To learn more about this account type please visit http://bit.ly/1kfD4eQ.

Does this mean that if you balance falls below the minimum for 1 day out of the month you are charged the $14.00?

Thank you for joining us here at TD Helps, Frank. You came to the right place for information.
Minimum daily balance requirement means you must keep the required balance every day of the statement cycle to avoid the maintenance fee. If your account falls below the required minimum any day during the statement cycle, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle.
We hope this is the information you were looking for, Frank. Visit us again anytime.
