Why can't I update my contact info online? Seems unnecessary to call an 800 number to update my mailing address.

It's quick and easy to change your address, telephone number or email address online.
To start, click here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq to login and select the "Customer Service" tab, located on the top of your screen. Find and click on "Contact Info". On the next screen, you can change the necessary information and click "Send". You're information should be fully updated within approximately 2-3 business days.
