the expire date for my card is not even close yet and i have never ordered a new one, but today I've received a brand new card with different account number on it.

Generally speaking, we will not mail out new debit card until your current debit card is about to expire and the replacement card should have the same numbers on it. To best address your concern, we will need to take a look at your account and your debit card first.
