We're sorry to hear that you were recently accessed an Overdraft Fee, and we'll be happy to clear up any confusion you may be experiencing.
Here at TD Bank, transactions are processed in chronological order, and in the event that you know that your account may become overdrawn, we always like to recommend making a deposit before processing your transaction(s). As transactions are processed chronologically, should your account become overdrawn at any time, you may be assessed an overdraft fee on the following business day.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, or if you'd prefer to speak with a Specialist in regard to having your account being reviewed for a refund, you're more than welcome to do so. You would also have the option of sending us a secure message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, towards the right hand side of your screen, you should see a 'Your Secure Messages' section. To send a message, simply click 'Send us a secure message.'
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
