I was checking my account using EasyWeb Online Banking, and I noticed that under my Credit Card, my Credit Total/Current Balance is in parentheses.
What does it mean when a credit card balance is in parentheses? Does it mean I overpayed my credit balance? Will I be charged interest on the credit total amount or does it mean the bank owes me money?
Hope to hear a reply soon!

Good afternoon, James! Thanks for reaching out to us.
We see you're writing in to us from Winnipeg – hello from the U.S.! If this is in regard to a TD Canada Trust Credit Card, we recommend that you reach out to them directly at 800-983-8472.
If this is in regard to a U.S. TD Bank credit card and you're showing your balance in parenthesis, the possibility exists that you may have overpaid the balance. As TD Helps is considered an unsecure forum, we do not have access to your account information. We recommend that you call our Credit Card Customer Service Team at 888-561-8861 so that we may take a look at your account. We have representatives available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer any questions you may have.
We hope you're having a great day, James! Take care.
