Hi Debbian, welcome to TD Helps. We are happy to guide you in the right direction with your question today.
If you would like to discuss fees that have been applied to your account, we ask that you contact us directly for assistance. You are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Representatives will be happy to review your account and ways to avoid overdraft fees.
You are also able to visit a TD Store during lobby hours to discuss your account. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Sometimes, there isn't enough time to call or visit us at a TD Store and that is okay. You are able to discuss your account via Secure Message by signing in to your Online Banking profile here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
Please know that we are unable to discuss your account via TD Helps as it is considered an unsecured forum and we do not have access to your account/personal information.
We would like to share that TD Bank offers multiple forms of overdraft protection to TD Bank Checking account holders, and we'd be happy to go over these options with you.
A form of overdraft protection that TD Bank offers is an option to link a TD Savings Account to your Personal TD Checking Account as a Savings Overdraft Account. In the case of an overdraft situation, as long as there are sufficient funds in the Savings Account to cover the negative balance in the Checking Account, funds will automatically be transferred. For more specific information please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lmjVaq. You may request this option by calling us at by dialing the number mentioned above or by visiting a TD Store.
If you do not have a Savings Account, please take a moment to review the different types of Savings Account TD Bank offers: http://bit.ly/1qFEY8j or feel free to check out our Savings Account Selector Tool for a customized recommendation: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF. You can open the account Online, over the phone at the number provided above, or at a TD Store.
Similarly, you can apply for a TD Moneyline Overdraft Protection. For more specific information on this type of overdraft protection take a look here: http://bit.ly/J7b4XR. You can apply online via this link or you can give us a call 24/7 at 800-937-5020 to speak with a Financial Services Group (FSG) Specialist. You may also apply for Moneyline Overdraft Protection at your local TD Bank Store.
Finally, we would also like to make you aware that we offer optional TD Debit Card Advance service. Please visit here: http://bit.ly/1voNBCy for all the details of this service.
We hope this helps, Debbian. Enjoy the rest of your week!
