Good morning Gina and thanks for connecting us on TD Helps this morning.
If you're referring to your TD deposit account such as a Checking, Savings, or Money Market account, when you see the balance is in parentheses, it normally stands for the account having an overdrawn balance and you should make a deposit as soon as possible.
If you're logged into your TD Bank online banking profile and you notice parentheses around your Pending Transaction amount, then this generally represents money leaving the account, not necessarily that the account has a negative balance. For more details on all of your Pending Transactions, you can click on the dollar amount you see listed to review a breakdown of all transactions pending on your account for the day.
For any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area. To find a TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you're referring to a TD Visa Credit Card account, you may wish to reach out to TD Card Services Specialists 24/7 at 888-561-8861 for clarification.
If we can assist you again, please feel free to write to us anytime! We hope this helps and enjoy your day.
