Hey Jessica, thank you for coming to TD Helps with your question.
Typically, gas stations will place a $1.00 hold on your account for authorization to withdraw the funds for the transaction you are making. After the full amount is debited from your account the $1.00 hold should be released. Please note that such transactions could take up to 3-5 business days to be debited for the full amount.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area in person for further assistance. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps answer your question and take care.
