Welcome to TD Helps, Ling. We are happy to provide you with some information today.
Depending on the type of account you have, a daily minimum balance may be required to avoid a maintenance fee. The monthly maintenance fee is assessed anytime your account balance falls below your daily minimum balance during your statement period. The fee will show on up on the last day of your statement cycle. Please note, you have until the end of the current business day to bring your balance above the minimum balance to avoid a maintenance fee.
From your inquiry, it sounds like you may have a Convenience Checking account. For more information on our TD Convenience Checking, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/18IVtY0. If this is not the account type you have and are unsure of what you have, it will be listed on your paper statements. If you do not have a paper statement handy, that's okay! You may view this information via your Online Banking.
Once you've logged onto your Online banking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, please select the "Accounts" tab and select "Statements." Another window should open with your statement images where you can view your account type.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at 888-751-9000 to speak with our Banking Specialists, available 24/7. After account verification, our Specialists would be more than happy to review your account with you. Or if you prefer, you can stop by any TD Bank location during lobby hours. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a location near you.
Thanks for reaching out Ling, and please take care!
