Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Chris. We'd be happy to review maintenance fees.
On some of our accounts, there is a minimum daily balance required in order to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. If your account falls below the required minimum, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle.
We do offer different types of accounts, each of which has its own balance requirement. We encourage you to review our Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF and our Savings accounts here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT to locate yours. Please note balance requirements apply to each account individually unless otherwise noted with "combined minimum balance."
Because we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum , we encourage you to contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and a Customer Service Representative would be happy to review your account with you to determine why the fee was assessed.
If you'd prefer, you also have the option of sending a Secure Message through Online Banking. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking and would like to be, please click here to begin: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message." You may also visit any TD Bank location during lobby hours for assistance as well. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find locations near you.
We hope to hear from you soon, Chris and have a good afternoon.

Thanks for joining in, David.
As we mention in our reply above, maintenance fees are assessed on the final day of your statement if your account fell below its daily minimum balance.
Keep in mind that statement periods are a total of 30 days. Because of this, you should not receive multiple maintenance fees within the same month.
If you have a question about a fee you've noticed on your account, we recommend reaching out to us directly. To do so, you are able to contact us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
In addition, if you are enrolled for Online Banking, you may send a secure message using www.tdbank.com. To send a secure message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
Please know that we would like to assist you directly however, TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum and we do not have access to your account/personal information.
We hope this clears things up, David. Have a good afternoon.
Customer Service Team, Mount Laurel
