We appreciate the visit Diana. We would be happy to clarify this for you.
Depending on the type of account you have, a maintenance fee may be assessed automatically per month, or it may be able to be waived if you meet the account's daily balance requirement. From your message, it sounds as though you may have our TD Simple Checking account, which has a flat monthly fee per month with no daily balance requirement. If you prefer to change your account type to another checking product, you are more than welcome to do so and please review our account options using the links below.
You can review the types of Checking Accounts we currently offer here: http://bit.ly/1f9fEn9. If you're able to locate the type of account you currently have, you're welcome to review the requirements needed. We also invite you to check out our Account Selector Tool, which can provide recommendations based on your account needs. For Checking accounts, please visit: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. For more information on our Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you prefer, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, who can review your account requirements with you, and make other recommendations. If you find another account which suits your needs, you'll be happy to know that we can change the product type for you without changing your account number or Visa Debit/ATM card number. Please note that a checking account can be changed to another checking account type. Additionally, please feel free to stop by your local TD Store for further assistance. We hope this has helped answer your questions today, Diana!
