We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing acceptance issues, Mary, and we'd be glad to help you learn more.
There are a variety of reasons why your debit card may have been declined. A mistake entering your PIN, insufficient funds, potential fraud or even your card expiring can result in a debit card decline.
Because there are so many potential reasons that a debit card can be declined, we ask that you connect with a Banking Specialist to review your account. You are able to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Once speaking with a Representative, they'd be happy to help you determine the issue with your debit card.
In addition to calling, we have Specialists available during lobby hours at any TD Store and via secure message while you're signed in to Online/Mobile Banking.
Feel free to review TD Stores in your area as well as their hours by visiting here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you're enrolled in Online Banking, you're able to log in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and send a secure message located in the 'Message Center'. While signed into Mobile Banking, simply select 'Contact Us' then 'Send a secure message'.
We apologize that we've asked you to connect with us directly. TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum and is not a secure place to share personal/account information.
We're looking forward to hearing from you, Mary. Enjoy your day!
