I Keep trying to pay pseg and it keeps telling me it needs more time

Bill Payments made through TD Bank Bill Pay can be issued electronically or as a draft check, and actual processing is determined by the Biller. Bills paid electronically can usually be paid as soon as the next business day and will give you the option to choose the next business day or the day following on the calendar, while payments sent in check form will usually need several days for processing and mailing.
When you are making a Bill Payment through TD Bank Online Banking, the date you select is the delivery date of your payment. In the case of an electronic funds transfer, the funds are transferred to your Biller on that date. If we're not able to transfer the payment electronically, the date you select is the date the check should be delivered. By default all weekends and holidays will not be available for selection of delivery. Typically, 3-4 business days are needed for a check payment as the item will be issued and mailed for delivery by the pay date you selected.
To ensure your payments are received on time, we recommend scheduling your payments to allow enough time for processing before the due date.
