I get paid every 2 weeks but my direct deposit is either delayed or doesn't go through. Why does this happen?

Thank you for coming to TD Helps with your inquiry, Payton.
For direct deposits or electronic funds transfer, funds are available to you on the date designated by your employer or depositor. These types of deposits are processed overnight at varying times. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Once this direct deposit has been received and funds have been credited to your TD account, you should be able to view this transaction via www.tdbank.com if you are already enrolled for online banking. If you have not yet enrolled and would like to enroll for this free service, you may use our self-service option by visiting here: http://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM or Debit Card number, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s). Once you are logged into your online banking, you may feel free to submit your account related questions via a Secure Message.
