Why can I not remove my ex wife from my bank accounts. Why is it I was told I can not change my security code. I do not want to close my account if possible. any ideas for me. thank you dan Maxwell.

Since you mentioned that you wish to change the verbal password on your account, you may do so by sending a secured message via online banking. In order to change the verbal password, you will have to confirm what the current verbal password is on your account. If you are unable to remember what the current verbal password is, you may visit your local TD Bank during lobby hours with appropriate ID to make the necessary changes. To find the nearest TD Bank Store please visit: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
If you currently have a joint personal account, both signers have equal rights and access to that account. This means that neither signer can be removed from the account directly and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you do not wish to continue to share the account, the account must be closed. Once the account is closed, you may open a new account.
In order to close a joint personal account, only one signer is required to submit this request. The best and quickest way to handle it is by visiting your local TD Bank Store during lobby hours with your valid photo ID. You may locate a Store using the link provided above.

If you currently have a joint business Checking account, in order to remove a signer from a Business account, it is required that all signers on the account visit a TD Bank Store and provide their signatures for this request.
