Two weeks ago my wife sent in writing her request on closing her account. She has a pass book and you had requested her to send it in writing. We now reside in Tennessee and stopping by your bank isn't an option. Has her check been sent yet and if not when?

To make sure an account is closed efficiently when submitting a written request, please be sure that she included her account number, mailing address (address where the check should be mailed), and the letter must be signed and notarized.
If 10-14 business days have passed and she has not yet received a check for the balance of the account, we recommend contacting the TD Bank Store where your letter request was mailed.
