I have a "Serve" Amex account, which is a card that you can upload money on. I am able to link my debit card to the account to transfer money from my debit to the serve card. Will the bank charge me fees for doing this?

Great to see you Cassandra,
To determine how to load funds to this card, we encourage you to reach out to Amex directly for their funding options. If you're able to use a banking account to do so, then you can use your TD Bank account. A fee should not apply for this service; however, we encourage you to check in with us once you determine the method of transfer so that we can best advise you if any cost would apply.
If you have questions at all, feel free to reach one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or stop in at any TD Bank Store found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps Cassandra!
All the best and enjoy your weekend.

Hello Kristen, thanks for your answer but it appears incomplete or inaccurate. Use of a "Serve" account is essentially a debit card transaction. I can not find that TD Bank allows external transfers directly from a debit card to a personal TD banking account. Can you confirm or support otherwise? thanks.

Thanks for joining us, Mike. We'd be happy to help.
Based on your inquiry, it sounds like you are looking to transfer funds from a debit card to your TD Account. If so, at this time, TD Bank does not offer the option to transfer funds from a Debit card to a TD account. However, if the debit card is linked to a checking account, you may request the funds from another checking account to your TD account by utilizing TD External Transfer feature via your TD Online Banking.
To start, you must first be logged into your online account. Next, you would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." You would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm the information is correct. Once you do, select "Send Request." The sender will then receive a text or an email with your request for funds. After the person sending you funds completes your request, the funds will take 2-3 business days to reach your account. Please note, that there may be fees for the use of this service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you are not enrolled for online banking yet, please click here to start the enrollment process: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. This link will take you directly to the “Online Banking Sign Up” page and choose "Personal" from the drop down box. Once you’re at the “Online Banking Sign Up” page, please complete the application. You will need your Social Security number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, and your e-mail address. For any troubles or difficulties with the enrollment process, please contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or feel free to visit us during lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps. Have a great day.
