I want to deposit a US $16,000 TD bank check into a dollar denominated UK current account. I realize that I will face fees from the UK receiving bank, but I was wondering whether TD bank charges when its checks are deposited in foreign accounts. If so what are the fees?

Hey Joe, thanks for making a stop at TD Helps.
We are glad to inform you that you may deposit a check drawn on a TD Account into any other bank account as you wish. Additionally, TD Bank will not charge a fee if you wish to deposit into another Financial Institution.
It sounds like you have already done this, but of course we recommend connecting with the other Financial Institution for additional information regarding fees prior to initiate your deposit. If you have any other questions for us, please feel free to call us at 888-751-9000. We are available 24/7 and we would be more than happy to help.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a good one.
