I ordered something online but it said my card was declined. I ordered it again and now it says I've ordered it twice in my pending transactions in TD Bank. Why was is declined and when will my money be placed back in my account for the item that was not ordered?

Thanks for joining us here on TD Helps, Melissa. We're sorry to hear of any troubles you are having with your debit card and would be happy to help point you in the right direction for help.
In order to have a pending debit card authorization released, the vendor may fax a letter to us on their letterhead to the attention of Fulfillment at 1-856-533-1138. They need to include the following:
1. Date of authorization
2. Your full debit card number
3. The exact amount debited
4. A brief statement from a representative expressing that they authorize the hold to be released
We do recommend contacting us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to confirm this transaction is still in pending status prior asking the merchant to fax the letter to us. While you are on the phone with us, we may verify your debit card status for you. As we would like to assist you directly, unfortunately, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum.
If the purchases were made by using your TD Visa credit card, you may contact our TD Card Services Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-561-8861 directly for further assistance.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, you may also stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Let us know if you have any other questions. We hope you have a nice day!
