Great question and we appreciate you stopping by TD Helps for your answer, George.
You will be happy to learn that neither Visa nor TD Bank charges any kind of foreign transaction fees. However, non-TD ATM fees still may apply.
When traveling overseas, you should be able to make ATM withdrawals from any ATMs that display the VISA or NYCE logo. Please note; fees may apply when using a non-TD ATM. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule here: https://go.td.com/1cTejgt as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your TD ATM debit card out of the country. You also may be assessed an additional fee (surcharge) at the time of your withdrawal. This fee is set by the machine owner and not associated with TD Bank. Please know that we do have some deposit account products either will waive non-TD ATM fees or receive unlimited ATM surcharge refunds. Please refer to the same fee schedule provided above for more information.
