That's a great question, Terese. We'll be sure to provide you with some information today.
Based on your question, you do not have to get a new account number due to a name change. To change your name and how it appears on your account, we do require you to visit a TD Store for security purposes. You will need to bring a copy of your marriage certificate or other legal document stating your change in name and a valid photo ID (Driver's license, Passport, State issued photo ID, etc.). Please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. for a list of our Store locations and hours.
We appreciate your visit, Terese and please take care.
