Thanks for stopping by TD Helps tonight! We appreciate your new account with us.
When you deposit a check with us, either with a Teller or at the ATM, the first $100 is usually made available to your account immediately. In general, the rest of the funds will be credited to your account on the business day following the deposit date. If you deposit a check, all of these funds would not available to you on the same day as the deposit and we apologize for any inconvenience this might cause for you.
Since you mentioned that you just opened your savings account, to find out more about when these funds will be available for you in each account we ask that you get in touch with us. By phone, we're available for you 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or you can stop in to see us at any TD Bank Store listed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please keep in mind that exceptions can occur which can cause delays in funds availability, including new accounts. For more detailed information, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-42, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this will help a bit, Kelvon.
Feel free to reply using the button in the top right of this message with any other questions.
Wishing you a great night!

Welcome to TD Helps, Ranya. We're sorry to hear about any inconvenience, and we'd be glad to assist.
Typically, while most checks deposited before 8:00 pm are available the next banking day, there are times when they may be held up to 7 business days. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes.
There are other instances in which check deposits may be held for extra time. For more information on funds availability and deposits that may be applied for additional verification, please see our Personal Deposit Account Agreement at http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-40, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Please note that we would like to assist you directly with your account; however, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum. To better assist you with your account, we encourage you calling our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and upon account verification, our Customer Service Representatives will be able to determine the cause of your deposit being held for review.
You may also inquire about your account by sending us a Secure Message through your Online Banking account. To send a secure online message, please sign into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send a Message. If you have not enrolled, you may do so at anytime by following this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address to complete the enrollment process. If you have any trouble enrolling, please contact the 24/7 phone number mentioned above.
You may also inquire about your deposit and enroll for Online Banking during lobby hours at your nearest TD Store. Our locations near you can be found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Ranya, and have a good evening.
