Hello! I am closing on a new home next week, and the closing agent has requested that the down payment and closing funds be paid thru a wire transfer. We are no longer local to any TD Bank Branch so I cannot go to a branch office to make this request; we moved from MA to TX last month.
Can I request the wire over the phone?

Please understand, to initiate a domestic or international wire transfer from your account, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store. For a listing of hours and locations please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores. To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
Keep in mind that transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.

There are no local branches to TX, which is where I am now located. What is the alternate solution? I cannot be the only one who has moved out of state and cannot visit a local branch.

We would like to inform you that the only way to initiate a domestic or international wire transfer from your account, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store.
