Hello, I am looking to open a checking account in order to get direct deposit so that I don't have to wait for my check. I will mostly use this to pay my credit card bills and I wanted to know if there are any fees that come with paying bills such as these. If so, what is the fee? Is there a fee for putting money into my account also? I also wanted to know if there is any features on this account which allows me to know when I'm close to using up all my money within my account?

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Diana. We'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
Here at TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. For your convenience, we have provided a link here https://go.td.com/2aHjRCr with more information on the current accounts that we offer, or you may check out our Checking Selector Tool here https://go.td.com/2fhzGCi for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you.
There are several ways to open an account with us: online, over the phone, or in person. The items that you will need to open the account are the following: Your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport).
To open a Checking account, you may apply Online by visiting www.tdbank.com. To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit. To open the account over the phone, you may call us directly, 24/7, at 1-888-751-9000. Once opened, you will have up to 30 business days to make your initial deposit. Finally, you have the option of visiting us at your local TD Store to open an account. If you choose this option, you will need to make an initial deposit to the account you selected. There would not be a minimum requirement to open the account; however, some accounts have requirements in order to have certain fees waived. We encourage you to review the link above prior to visiting a Store. For hours and locations near you, take a look here: https://go.td.com/2fG0oR5.
Once your account is open, you'll be happy to know that you can use TD Bill Pay to schedule bills and keep track of your monthly expenses. You may also schedule payments to individuals. Please note, when sending a Bill Payment to an individual or Organization, an account number is not needed. However, you will need the mailing address. Also, TD Bill Pay can be used to make payments within the US with a US address. We suggest taking a look here https://go.td.com/1gJbtPW for more detailed information on using Bill Pay and scheduling payments. For more details on the FAQs, please select the FAQs tab. And as a TD Bank Customer, you will have free online access which includes Online Banking, Bill Pay, and Mobile Banking!
After you log into your TD Online Banking from here: https://go.td.com/SMUhhl, please select the "Bill Pay" tab to begin. You may then input the name of the person or organization you are attempting to pay into the search bar. After you do so, please select from "Other Company" or "Person." After you select the type, you will then need to enter the bill information. The next step after that would be choosing how much and when you would like the payment to be scheduled. Once you have finished setting this payment, please be sure to select the "Make Payment" box.
Please keep in mind, this payment will be sent in a form of a check. We ask that you please allow 7-10 business days for delivery.
If you have any additional questions, you may call and speak with a Customer Service Representative 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at 1-888-751-9000. You're also able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, we invite you to check out the link provided above.
We hope this helps, Diana, and please let us know if you have any other questions. We hope you have a great day!
