Good afternoon, Joe.
We appreciate you coming to TD Helps for your answers today.
Before we begin, we'd like to take a moment to explain that while TD Bank and TD Canada Trust share the same TD shield, we are different entities, and because of this, a TD Canada Trust Specialists would be unable to access your account in the United States, and vice versa.
However, TD Bank and TD Canada Truth both operate together to offer a Cross Border Banking service, which will allow you to transfer funds between both of your accounts! While a Teller in Canada will be unable to access your account here in the United States, you would be able to perform a Cross Border Banking transfer from your account in the United States, to your TD Canada Trust account, and have the funds available to you in Canada, typically on the following business day.
To speak with someone in regard to completing a Cross Border Banking transfer, please call 877-700-2913, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Option number two will take you to a Specialist in the United States who will be happy to help answer any questions you may have, as well as perform this transfer for you, right over the phone!
You're also welcome to speak with a Customer Service Representative, during lobby hours, at your local TD Store location in regard to any Cross Border Banking questions you may have. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this clears up any confusion, Joe. Have a great rest of your day!
