Thanks for joining us, Larry. We'd be glad to clarify.
Please know that though TD Bank and TD Ameritrade share the same TD Shield, they are separate entities. Because of this, you are still eligible to open a promotional checking account.
You are able to review our checking options here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu. If you're having trouble choosing an account, you are able to use our Checking Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/KmmHe7.
Keep in mind that to qualify for the promotion, you would need to open your account online. Be sure to have your Social Security Number and valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) available.
We hope this helps, Larry. Have a good day.

Thanks for the clarification. I have attempted to open an account, but Utah is not on the drop-down box. Is the offer only available to certain states?
