Hello. I received a check from work yesterday, and I need to find a place to cash it in. I don't have a bank account, and the check is not a TD Bank check. Is there any way I can cash this check in? I really need the money. Thank you.

Hi Andrew, welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question.
Please know that we can only cash checks written on a TD Bank account for non- TD Bank Customers and we will require a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) to do so. Additionally, there may be a fee for this service if you are not a non-TD Bank Customer. At this time, the cost is $7.00. Please note that fees are subject change.
If you choose to open an account with us when you come in, please know that any check cashing fees would be waived for you as a TD Bank Customer. Also, although we may not be able to cash your check out right away, we will make the first $100 of all non-cash deposits available to you the same day of deposit. Additionally, the remainder of all funds from the first $5,000 of a day’s total deposits of cashier’s, certified, teller’s, traveler’s, and federal, state, and local government checks will be available on the first (1st) Business Day after the day of your deposit.
For more information about our funds availability for new accounts, please check out our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (Pgs. 38-41).
We hope this helps Andrew. If you have any more questions though, please feel free to reach out to us anytime 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Enjoy your weekend!
