I am outside the US but use to have an account with TD Bank at Clemson University in SC. Can I reactivate my account or open a new account with the Bank?

That's a great question, Salmatta! We'll be glad to give you some options regarding your inquiry about opening an account with us.
If you have a U.S. Social Security number, U.S. address and a U.S. State Driver's License at this time, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or via collect with operator assistance from a non-mobile phone at 00+1-215-569-0518.We invite you to take a look at the accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a savings selector tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs. Once you've decided on the accounts that you would like to open, give us a call at the telephone numbers provided above to open a new one. If your U.S. address is located within our footprint from Maine to Florida, you'll also be able to use the above links to open an account online. Please note that we're unable to reactivate a previous account and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you do not meet one or more of the above requirements right now, you would need to visit any TD Bank location during lobby hours to open an account with us. If you happen to be in the area, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you. You would need to bring your Non U.S passport and an additional secondary form of ID to open the account. Please take a look at the list below for acceptable forms.
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We hope the information we mentioned above helps and let us know if you have any questions, Salmatta!
